Giving Back

At Bath & Body Works, we are characterized by a deep commitment to each other and to our communities.

Associates are provided with many fun and engaging opportunities to continue the Bath & Body Works legacy of giving generously and each year their collective response makes a significant impact in the communities where we live and work. Giving opportunities include United Way, Komen Race for the Cure and Pelotonia - a bike ride in support of cancer research. In addition, associates volunteer thousands of hours of their time to help non-profit organizations in our home office communities through a variety of volunteer activities throughout the year.

Visit our Community section to find out more about how we give back as individuals and as an enterprise and continue to make a difference every day.

AN END TO CANCER

PELOTONIA - A Grassroots Bike Tour With One Goal

Founded in 2008, Pelotonia was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center — James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report, Ohio State is recognized as a leader in cancer care and women's health.

As one of four major sponsors of Pelotonia, Bath & Body Works support ensures that 100 percent of every dollar raised directly funds breakthrough ideas, treatments and cures.

By being a Rider, Challenger and Volunteer, our company and associates have donated more than $64 million for Pelotonia, an organization that has contributed approximately $207 million directly to cancer research through its first 11 rides.

By getting involved with Pelotonia, Bath & Body Works is able to give back in a way that can ultimately benefit our global community by helping to end to cancer as we know it. As long as even one person is fighting cancer ... WE KEEP GOING.

SUSAN G. KOMEN AND AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY

We’ve also partnered with Susan G. Komen and American Cancer Society donating nearly $5M collectively to fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. By participating in Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure, our team has been named the world’s largest RFTC business team for the past ten years.
