Bath & Body Works Launches Rooted Collection, Featuring a Homemade Sourdough Candle
What You Should Know
Bath & Body Works is introducing Rooted, a new spring collection inspired by slow living, homesteading and food‑inspired daily rituals, grounded in consumers’ desire to embrace moments that restore and bring a sense of calm. Rooted debuts with candles and body care on March 13, 2026, followed by hand soaps, hand sanitizers and home décor on March 23, just in time for Mother’s Day gifting.
The collection launches with the brand’s signature 3‑wick candle, in the new fragrance Homemade Sourdough, a nod to the renewed popularity of home baking and building upon the brand’s existing expertise in gourmand olfactory fragrance. The scent features notes of freshly baked sourdough, olive oil and whipped butter, designed to evoke the comfort and familiarity of homemade bread. Additional candle fragrances include Spring Apple, Carrot & Nectarine and other seasonal offerings.
Rooted also reflects the growing popularity of matcha-inspired flavors and rituals with Morning Matcha Gentle Foaming Hand Soap. The fragrance includes notes of creamy cold foam, fresh matcha and sweet strawberry syrup.
In body care, the collection introduces new scents such as Carrot Charm, a bright blend of sugared musk, orange carrot and juicy nectarine and brings back fan‑favorite seasonal fragrance: Off the Vine, the tomato-inspired scent that gained significant buzz in 2025. Available in our dermatologist approved formulas like Ultimate Hydration Body Cream, Body Lotion and more, experience skin nourishing ingredients in these elevated fragrance options.
The home décor assortment extends the collection’s garden theme with the Beet 3‑Wick Pedestal and a Veggie Wallflower Fragrance Plug. Both are designed to add a playful, seasonal accent to any space.
“With Rooted, we set out to capture the beauty of the spring season and life’s simplest rituals — the moments that ground us, inspire us and make our homes feel alive,” said Robin Verstraete, vice president of merchandising at Bath & Body Works. “This collection reflects a growing cultural desire to slow down and find joy in everyday routines, whether that’s baking bread, whisking matcha or tending to a garden. Our teams blended that inspiration, with the expertise of world-class perfumers, into fragrances and designs meant to feel grounded and approachable.”
Candles and body care from the Rooted collection will be available online and in store beginning March 13, 2026, with soaps and décor items from the collection to follow on March 23. For more information, visit bathandbodyworks.com.
