This summer, Bath & Body Works hosted 42 standout students from 14 colleges across the country as part of its competitive internship program. Chosen from over 10,000 applicants, these interns brought fresh ideas, drive, and a love of learning to every corner of the business.
Some interns were already superfans before they even had a Bath & Body Works badge.
“Before I could drive myself, I would go to the mall with my mom and sister, and I was obsessed with Paris Amour. When the brand brought it back for its Emily in Paris collab, I had to buy it again because it’s so nostalgic to me,” said Ohio University rising senior Josh Dill.
As rising seniors, interns immersed themselves in the Bath & Body Works culture through a robust, 10-week program that included brand and functional learning, professional development workshops, networking events and community service opportunities. Each intern also led special projects, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to business outcomes.
Anna Banyard, a rising senior at Indiana University, is a Marketing major with a Merchandising minor. In her Merchandising Intern role, she was tasked with creating an assortment of products that appeal to the collegiate customer. She also worked on multiple patterning projects to assess current trends and opportunities for the brand.
“Getting to learn about Bath & Body Works’ customers has been really interesting, and my internship put what I’m learning in the classroom into practice,” said Banyard.
Dill worked on Bath & Body Works’ loyalty program and email campaigns and especially enjoyed the Leader Speaker Series.
“My favorite session was with Tony Garrison, Bath & Body Works Executive Vice President of International. He spoke about how he maintains a work/life balance, and it was really refreshing to hear someone that advanced in their career speak so candidly,” Dill said.
Ohio State University rising senior and Inventory Intern Olivia Murphy appreciated the mentorship built into the program. “We’re in groups of five interns with two Bath & Body Works associates, and we meet regularly to share what we’re working on and get career advice,” said Murphy.
All three students shared that the brand culture and associates made their summer special. “My dream company genuinely cares about people and gives back to its community,” Dill said. “Bath & Body Works aligns with my values, and that energizes me.”
“At Bath & Body Works, we take great pride in our exceptional internship program,” said Christopher Henry, senior vice president, Talent Management. “It’s a truly collaborative experience—our interns gain valuable, hands-on learning and professional connections, while their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas help drive our business forward.”
The energy, creativity and contributions from this summer’s interns will make a lasting impact. Thank you, Summer 2025 interns!
