In 2024, Bath & Body Works introduced an initiative called “Investing in You”, which provides a suite of programs and benefits to support associates through their personal and professional journeys. From tuition reimbursement and scholarship opportunities to a full-service healthcare facility at the Columbus headquarters, these benefits focus on supporting career advancement and overall well-being.
The Dream Brightly Scholarship is one of those benefits. Twenty scholarships of $10,000 each over the course of two years, are offered to current U.S. associates, their dependents and spouses to offset the cost of a post-secondary educational opportunity of their choosing.
Recent winner and store associate Faith Kyelberg shared her appreciation and excitement upon learning that she would receive a scholarship. “This scholarship, to me, means more than financial assistance. It gives me validation of everything I have worked for, for so long. Knowing that Bath & Body Works believes in me to invest in my education means everything and fuels and motivates me to work harder every day!”
It isn’t just associates themselves who are grateful for the scholarships. Director of Talent Acquisition, Jason Matney, explains what Dream Brightly has done for his family. “I’m incredibly proud of my daughter, Isabella. As a cancer survivor, she has shown remarkable courage and resilience. Today, she is thriving as a talented musician, artist and student. Thanks to the Dream Brightly Scholarship, Isabella and other deserving recipients have been empowered to focus on their education and personal development.
